OXFORD UNIVERSITY APPLICATION MASTERCLASS FOR CENTRAL SIXTH

Central Sixth students got an application masterclass from none other than Oxford University when they visited one of its historic colleges. The A Level students received top tips on how to excel at interview plus a taster of university life at Mansfield College.  

GRAND UNVEILING OF STATION MURAL & EXHIBITION ROOM

Art & Design students from Sandwell College were today at the grand unveiling of the mural they have produced in partnership with London Midland. The mural stands proud under the platform archway at Rolfe Street Station in Smethwick. Construction students have also transformed the former station master’s office into a new community exhibition room.  

CENTRAL SIXTH STUDENTS GET LIVE TV & RADIO EXPERIENCES AT WORCESTER UNI

Central Sixth students got a real taste of TV and radio recording in a live studio at a Journalism Taster Day at the University of Worcester. The A Level English students experienced the pressure of presenting, sound and floor managing with lecturers who work in the industry, including BBC Sports Editor Dan Johnson.

SANDWELL COLLEGE FASHION SHOW WOWS FRONT ROW

Graduate designers showcased their final collections on the catwalk at the Sandwell College Fashion Show. The show was staged in the main college atrium, and marked the students’ successful completion of their BTEC Diploma courses in Fashion and Clothing. See more photos on Facebook!
