Art & Design students have made a brilliant start on the ‘Smethwick Going Forward’ mural with community artist Steve Field, which will be on display at Rolfe St Station. London Midland has commissioned the community art project.
Construction students from Sandwell College have been working on the transformation of a community room for London Midland. Ten building maintenance operations students have installed floor protection and removed the plaster in the room at Rolfe Street station, and yesterday Level 2 and 3 site carpenters started building the studwork and boarding the walls.
