Sandwell College is a thriving hub of artistic learning & performance development, creating the performance makers of the future, ready to inspire and delight audiences in theatre and performance venues.

We are proud to call ourselves the first Midlands Leadership College for Creative & Cultural Skills and partner major organisations like The Birmingham Repertory Theatre, sharing vivid experiences and live performances with you and our community in our flagship Festival of Arts. This all means students from our College have the chance to work with esteemed industry experts including BBC Music Introducing and the Welsh National Opera.

Our Performing Arts, Music & Media courses are designed with you in mind and in collaboration with the very best of the creative industries. We will train you to take on the roles required to deliver excellence and we give students from across Birmingham and the West Midlands the opportunity to develop the acting, vocal and dance techniques needed to make it in the industry.

  • Design and operate lighting and sound for a huge range of events in our 170-seat theatre

  • Opportunities to perform in a minimum of three full-scale productions each year in a variety of performance venues
  • Advice and guidance on applying and auditioning for drama schools and professional work
