Sandwell College students made all the right connections with employers at the Health, Care and Life Sciences Careers Event.
The team welcomed 16 different healthcare organisations, with many opportunities on offer from the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust and more future project working in the pipeline.
Team Leader Heather Brown said: “The event was a great success, and students made their own connections which is excellent!”
Lecturers were also able to arrange employer engagement talks and Work Placement Co-ordinator Keith Davies secured even more placements for students to gain vital experience in the sector.

Health Care Innovation Lead for the College, Lesa Jones, who organised the event, added: “The whole team made the event a success. As a result the college is now involved in an exciting new local project, partnered by SWBH NHS Trust so watch this space!”
