Music students at Sandwell College have launched their own record label at their new recording studios. Denovo Records is based at Central Sixth campus, offering professional quality recordings, industry standard equipment and experienced technicians.

The newly opened studios are open to all artists, from all genres, and can be used on an hourly, half day or full day basis.

Course leaders Lauren Bennett and David Ross have worked with the production students to set up their label. They are now looking for budding singer songwriters and artists who want to record and release their own music.

Lecturer David Ross said: “We want to enable artists to create amazing music. Our friendly team is here to help every step of the way from recording, to mixing and mastering and finally helping to design artwork and promoting the finished product. We pride ourselves in giving our artists control over their final product. Our mission is to show the world that there is more to West Bromwich than meets the ear.”
