An Interactive Media student from Sandwell College will see his design brought to life when it becomes a real company logo.
Matthew Doleman’s corporate design was selected as the best by local company Jamrock Catering, and will now be used in all its branding.
Director Doreen Allen turned to the college’s Creative Industries department to provide her with a bright vibrant logo that would make her company stand out.
She said: “I was overwhelmed with the number of options that we had to choose from. This made it difficult to choose a winner. I asked the public, family members and friends to see which would be the most popular and Matthew’s was the one that really met the brief.”
Lecturer Richard Franklin said: “Perhaps the most value in winning will come when Matthew can show potential employers an example of a real-world project that he has worked on. It could help to be the deciding factor on whether a company chooses to employ Matthew over somebody else.”
