Table tennis players Jade Ballantyne and Roisin Brown are hoping for a double victory after qualifying for the national college championships for the second year running.
The successful ladies doubles team scored silver last year, but the runners up, both studying Level 3 Sport diplomas, are going for gold this time.
Jade and Roisin, who were also joint winners of Sandwell College’s Best Female Sports Performer of the Year Award, will be returning to the Association of Colleges Championships in April.
FE Sports Coordinator, Matt Hammett, said: “The opportunity to be part of one of the biggest sporting events in the country, for the second year running, is a very proud moment for both the girls and the college. We wish them the best of luck.”
