Winning styles from successful competition students took centre stage in the hairdressing course catwalk show It’s All About The Base.
Stunning hairstyles reflected different themes including Burlesque Through The Years, Zombie Brides Around The World, Light and Dark Fantasy (Disney) and Futuristic.
The annual show was put together as a unit from the Level 3 students’ NVQ – Contribute to the Planning and Implementation of Promotional Activities.
Performing arts dancers choreographed three dances to set the themes for the show, Burlesque, Ramalama Bang Bang/Thriller and Futuristic.
Lecturer Claire Monk said: “The students have planned, arranged and evaluated the whole show themselves, and have been working hard since September to make sure today was successful.”
