Photography students have taken over a market stall at West Bromwich Indoor Market and taken some great portraits at their free pop-up studio.
Students are volunteering as part of the Multistory 16-day campaign of Activism Against Gender Violence. Magnum photographer Susan Meiselas has also produced her latest work with Multistory, A Room of Their Own, to share women’s experiences of domestic abuse.
The stall is open daily, 10am – 4pm, except Sunday, until 10 December.
Visitors are invited to have a free portrait taken by the photographers and leave a ‘message of hope’ to be part of the ongoing conversation around domestic violence.
