Year 2 Interactive Media student James Brown has won a competition to design a company logo for Barbados-based Unique Tiling 246.
The brief for the competition organised by lecturer Richard Franklin was to reflect not only the company’s trade, but also the colour scheme of the island’s flag.
Director Sean Maynard chose the design, one of 22 created by the Level 3 students as it clearly promotes his tiling company by using the shapes of tiles. It is also patriotic through its colours and reference to the shape of the island.
James can now look forward to seeing his design on all the company’s promotional material as well as having £50 prize money to spend.
