Generous childcare students dressed in monochrome to celebrate their Black and White Party, raising more than £360 to sponsor a water well.
Planning the event as part of their enterprise project, and beating their original target of £300, all money raised will be going to the Penny Appeal Thirst Relief programme.
The learners want to set up a water well in Sandwell College Childcare’s name in a village where there is no clean running water.
Team leader Nargis Bostan said: “Wow, the students will be so pleased they can sponsor their water well now!”
