The ability to coach and mentor others is fast becoming a sought after workplace skill; as employers are increasingly expecting line managers to develop the skills, knowledge and performance of their teams using coaching and mentoring skills and techniques. This course is ideal for anyone who has line management experience or who works in the field of Human Resources or who has aspirations to become a manager or work in Human Resources in the future.
You must have gained a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications.
However, if you are a mature applicant (over 21 years) your work experience (paid and/or unpaid) may be taken into account in lieu of formal qualifications.
You will study two units:-
· Principles , Skills and Impact of Coaching and Mentoring
· Coaching and Mentoring for Individual and Team Needs
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
The total fee for this course (including registration and certification) is £600.
HOWEVER, if you live within ‘West Midlands Combined Authority’ region, you may be eligible to a FREE place on this course subject to certain terms and conditions.
Start Date: Tuesday 31st January 2023
End Date: Tuesday 25th April 2023
Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,000-2,500 words.
The course is delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes taking place on Tuesdays 9.30am – 3pm, using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Online, on-demand learning materials are available 24/7 and are accessible by both PCs and mobile devices.
Progression opportunities include completing a full Level 3 Diploma in Management Coaching and Mentoring and/or moving on to CMI qualifications at the next level, for example the CMI Level 5 Certificate/Diploma in; Management Coaching and Mentoring.
