You must have gained at least a Level 5 CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership or equivalent qualification (e.g., HND/FdA/BA/BSc in Management). HOWEVER, we can consider your level of managerial experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
It is essential that applicants have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive business activities in a senior management and leadership role, this will be established via an interview.
You will study two units:-
· Strategic Leadership
· Leading and Developing People to Optimise Performance
Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.
Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 3,500-4,500 words.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress on to the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice which could then lead you to progress on to a CMI Level 8 Strategic Direction and Leadership course (equivalent to a Doctorate in Management), or alternatively a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or a Masters Degree in Management and Leadership. You may also be eligible to apply for Chartered Membership of the CMI (CMgr MCMI).
