When does the Course Start

Start Date: Thursday 11th April 2024

Course requirements

You must have gained a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications.

Ideally, you will also have a CMI Level 3 Diploma or similar qualifications at level 3.

However, if you are a mature applicant (over 21 years) your work experience (paid and/or unpaid) may be taken into account in lieu of formal qualifications.

You will study two units:

  • Managing Projects to Achieve Results
  • Conducting a Management Project

Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.

The course will be delivered weekly online on Thursday evenings 6-9PM.

Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,500-4,000 words. The second assignment will involve proposing, conducting and reporting on a workplace management project.

On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. Upon achievement of the Level 5 Diploma, you may be eligible to apply for full membership (MCMI) or even Chartered Membership of the CMI (CMgr MCMI).

Other progression opportunities include moving on to CMI qualifications at the next level, for example, the CMI Level 6 Certificate in Professional Management and Leadership Practice or CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.
