This Level 5 Award in Managing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion qualification enables practising or aspiring managers to understand the business case for equality, diversity and inclusion and the role of managers in creating inclusive cultures within organisations. Effective management of equality and diversity not only benefits staff and stakeholders, it can positively impact an organisation’s achievement.
You must have gained a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above including English or equivalent qualifications. Ideally, you will also have a CMI Level 3 Diploma or similar qualifications at level 3.
However, if you are a mature applicant (over 21 years) your work experience (paid and/or unpaid) may be taken into account in lieu of formal qualifications.

Whilst on the course, you will be given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification and later as you progress in their career.

This qualification is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,500-4,000 words.
Progression opportunities include moving on to other Level 5 CMI qualifications, for example CMI Level 5 Certificate or Diploma in Management and Leadership. If you achieve this Award qualification, you will be able to transfer this qualification across as part of these qualifications.
