How and when should I pay?
Payment and registration forms should be completed prior to the course start date. To arrange payment for first aid or manual handling courses please speak to the Business Development Team on 0121 667 5018 for food safety/health and safety courses. Payment can be made by card, cash, or cheque made payable to Sandwell College with your name and address on the back.
My employer is paying my course fees. What do I need to do?
You need to bring written confirmation of this on company letter headed paper, stating your name, the name and address of the person to be invoiced by the college, and the amount to be paid.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Please note that if you cancel within 10 working days of the course start date, a charge of 50% of the course fee will be made.
Do you offer any support for additional needs?
Please call the college on 0121 667 5018 if you require any additional support, at least one week before the course start date.
Can I take the CIEH exam in another language?
If you require CIEH exam papers in another language, please contact the college at least seven working days before the course start date so that this can be arranged.
Will refreshments be available on site?
The college has a range of café kiosks and a larger cafeteria serving a variety of hot and cold refreshments.
What should I wear?
If you are attending a manual handling or first aid course, please ensure that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear, as you will be carrying out practical work.
When do I get my certificate?
Certificates are normally issued within four to six weeks of you passing the exam and will be posted to you or your employer via recorded delivery.
