
The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship is for someone who can take responsibility for managing a team or discrete project. This apprenticeship has been designed to provide access to development opportunities for people who are at the start of their career in leadership and management and who wish to take their first steps into professional management. It is also appropriate for those already in management roles who may already have developed practical experience, but who wish to develop their theoretical understanding of management skills.
The entry requirements for this Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or higher. You must have achieved your GCSE Maths and English with a Grade 4/C or higher, or Functional Skills at Level 2. You will be required to be working in a supervisory role as you will be completing a Level 3 Diploma in Management and developing a portfolio of evidence from the workplace.

On completion of this Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship, apprentices may choose to register as associate members with the Institute of Leadership & Management, to support their professional career development and progression.
