We offer a structured training programme for those in employment who want to learn and we work with employers to recruit apprentices seeking an apprenticeship placement in dentistry. The Practice Manager apprenticeship is suitable for those responsible for managing all non-clinical aspects within a specified dental practice/s to achieve excellent patient care, quality, cost and delivery performance in line with practice strategy, goals and values. The Practice Manager leads the team by providing support and direction to enhance performance, skills and knowledge of all practice staff.

Course requirements

The entry requirements for this Level 4 Dental Practice Manager Apprenticeship will be decided by each employer. However, the minimum entry requirements for this Level 4 Dental Practice Manager Apprenticeship may typically be:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or higher
  • GCSE Maths and English with a Grade 4/C or higher, or Functional Skills at Level 2
  • Demonstrate a passion for the dental industry
  • Be at least 16 years of age
