Our Body Repair courses are designed to provide you with an insight into life as a vehicle crash repairer.
Our Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair courses are designed to give you the skills to become a motor vehicle mechanic. But whatever specialism you opt for, you can be sure that all our courses will help you to develop the industry-standard knowledge and skills required for employment in the Automotive sector.
If you choose to specialise further in Vehicle Body and Paint you’ll gain knowledge of repairing dents, removing and replacing vehicle panels, welding, priming, painting and refinishing vehicles. Vehicle Paint Refinishing will teach you how to apply different foundation coats and work with different construction materials. You’ll learn how to apply various paint finishes to ensure the correct colour match. You could even develop your customising skills to enhance your employment potential within the Automotive trade.
MET (Mechanical Electrical and Trim) will teach you the techniques required to remove and refit trim, suspension, electrical components and mechanical components to motor vehicles. You’ll learn how to service, diagnose and repair motor vehicles. After completing a Maintenance and Repair course, you’ll have a qualification that shows employers and customers you really do have the necessary skills to be able to progress in your Automotive career or to higher qualifications.
