This Level 3 IT Development Diploma for IT Users qualification provides basic level skills and knowledge that could lead to further education in IT or related areas, as well as underpinning other educational sectors. You will study 9 different units and complete projects and exams:
Computing students get involved in a range of varied activities as part of their course, from organising gameathons to creating and editing their own magazine. The course offers trips to Disneyland Paris, residential trips to London as well as amusement parks. Successful learners are also recognised for their hard work at a special departmental award ceremony at the end of the year.
Projects and exams are based on real life work situations using a variety of software and transferable skills that you would then be able to apply in future employment.
Grades for each unit are awarded according to a grading scale of Fail, Pass, Credit/Merit and Distinction.
