Course summary

Just studying A Levels is not the only way into university and the career of your choice. The Young Professionals Academy offers you the option of studying an A Level alongside a more practical and career-focused Level 3 Diploma (the same level of qualification as A Levels). The Diploma in Business with Finance is for students who are keen on a career in accounting. This option enables you to study the Diploma in Business, plus a suitable A Level, plus the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. The AAT Certificate is suitable for learners who wish to gain a thorough grounding in accountancy knowledge and skills, from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounting. It offers an excellent base for students to move directly into junior accountancy roles in business. If you go on to study business and finance at university, this qualification would also be a platform for you to gain further AAT qualifications and become a qualified Accounting Technician and AAT member.
