Employers from across the West Midlands are being invited to join an exclusive breakfast event at Sandwell College to explore a smarter, faster way to recruit through Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs).
Hosted by Sandwell College in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, the Employer Breakfast will take place on Tuesday 16 June 2026 from 8am – 11am at Sandwell College.
The event will focus on helping employers across a range of sectors tackle recruitment challenges by connecting businesses with skilled, job-ready candidates. Industries highlighted include automotive, business, construction, care, engineering, hospitality, retail and warehouse operations.
The breakfast session will showcase how SWAPs are helping employers recruit with confidence, while also supporting local people into sustainable employment through tailored training and industry-focused preparation.
