We are delighted to see our former Cricket Education Programme student Davina Perrin continue her remarkable rise in the game after signing a contract extension with Warwickshire Bears Women.
Davina, one of the most exciting young talents in English cricket, has enjoyed a sensational start to her professional career and continues to go from strength to strength at just 20 years old.
She captured national attention in 2025 when she made history by scoring the fastest century in The Hundred women’s competition, reaching three figures from just 42 balls in a breathtaking innings that showcased her power, confidence and fearless approach at the crease.
Warwickshire Bears Women Head Coach Ali Maiden praised the young batter following the announcement of her new deal. “She’s one of the most exciting talents in the English domestic game, and we’re looking forward to seeing what she can achieve in the coming years.”
Davina’s commitment to the Bears reflects both her belief in the club’s ambitions and the exciting future of women’s cricket in the region. Speaking after signing the extension until at least the end of the 2028 season, Davina said: “I’m really happy to be extending my time with the Bears. We have a very exciting, talented and high-potential group. This is a team that encourages freedom and expression on the pitch and I’m looking forward to the success these things can bring.”
