Learners on this course will develop their professional strategic leadership and management abilities, with an emphasis on acquiring the knowledge, skills and behaviours to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.
In today’s fast-paced world, time is a precious commodity, particularly for busy managers and executives. Opting for a distance learning course is a shrewd tactical manoeuvre to invest in personal and professional growth on their own terms, anytime, anywhere, and here’s why:
- They are freed from traditional classroom schedules, allowing them to integrate their learning around their work and home lives.
- They can tailor the pace of learning to suit their needs, accelerating through familiar concepts and taking ‘deeper dives’ where necessary.
- It eliminates the need for travel, accommodation, and time away from work, minimising disruption to their professional commitments and enabling them to focus on both their career and education simultaneously.
This course is for adult learners who are practising or aspiring senior managers and directors working across a range of organisations in the private, public and third sectors.
Learners who successfully achieve all four units, and who have three plus years’ management and leadership experience at middle/operational manager level or above, by the time they complete the course, can pay an additional fee of £150 to be assessed for the prestigious Chartered Manager status. Chartered Manager (CMgr) status is an internationally recognised accreditation and the gold standard of excellence in management and leadership. According to the latest CMI research (2024), the average pay rise of a manager as a result of becoming Chartered is £13k.
Unemployed learners with appropriate prior work experience and/or qualifications are also welcome to apply.
