This Chartered Management Institute course builds on the knowledge and skills gained during the diploma programme with additional specialist units.
This CMI Level 5 Extended Diploma management course is designed for learners who have completed the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership and wish to expand their expertise across a wider range of key management areas.
It is ideal for those seeking enhanced career prospects or progression to the CMI Level 7 Certificate/Diploma/Extended Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice.
Learners who successfully achieve all four units, and who have three or more years’ management and leadership experience at middle/operational manager level or above, by the time they complete the course will be automatically assessed for the prestigious Chartered Manager status.
Chartered Manager (CMgr) status is an internationally recognised accreditation and the gold standard of excellence in management and leadership. According to the latest CMI research (2024), the average pay rise of a manager as a result of becoming Chartered is £13k.
Course cost:
£1,200 in total. However, this course is fully funded for WMCA residents who fit the minimum entry criteria.
Course delivery:
The course is delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes taking place on Mondays, 6 – 9pm, using the Zoom video conferencing platform.
