This practical and career-focused course is designed for aspiring and early-stage managers who want to build the confidence, knowledge and skills to lead effectively in the workplace. It’s ideal for adult learners who have some first line management or team leadership experience, or who aspire to become a first line manager or team leader in the future. Learners studying these courses are usually employed and work in a variety of first line manager/team leader/supervisor roles in a range of organisations across the private, public and third sectors. Unemployed learners with appropriate prior work experience and/or qualifications are also welcome to apply.
Duration: 12 weeks – one, three-hour evening class per week. The course is delivered fully online with ‘real-time’ interactive classes taking place on Thursdays, 6 – 9pm, using the Zoom video conferencing platform.
Cost: £600 in total. However, this course is fully funded for WMCA residents who fit the minimum entry criteria.
Resources: Online, on-demand learning materials are available 24/7 and are accessible by both PCs and mobile devices. All learners are given FREE professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support them throughout the qualification and later as they progress in their career.
