Sandwell College was proud to host the first of the regional heats for the Association of Hairdressers and Therapists, showcasing the incredible work of the Midlands’ most creatively talented students for the third year running.
We are thrilled that 33 of our Hair and Beauty students qualified for the national finals to be held in Blackpool in May, with 7 learners gaining 1st place, 14 taking 2nd place positions and 12 finishing in 3rd place.
Lead scrutineers from AHT were joined on competition day by VTCT representatives, industry-renowned make-up artists and world hairdressing judges for the unenviable task of deciding the winners.
