Motivated maths students at Sandwell College embraced the power of numbers in MEI’s Further Education Maths Challenge.
The confidence-boosting college final featured a mix of kahoot quizzes and dominoes competitions, celebrating mathematical thinking and highlighting the essential role numeracy plays, with winners’ medals, awards and vouchers presented by Senior Vice-Principal – Quality and Student Success, Emma Brannen.
Part of a national competition designed to inspire and support learners who are improving their GCSE Mathematics grade, college teams Funkies, Ein2steins and Go Forths competed to be crowned college champs.
The fun competition reaches over 92 colleges and 40,000 students annually, culminating in regional finals and a national final in April.
