As part of T Level Week, Sandwell College is celebrating Trailblazers Tuesday by recognising the outstanding achievements of our T Level Class of 2026 and the exciting opportunities their qualifications have opened up.
From progressing to university and starting careers to overcoming challenges and achieving personal milestones, our students’ success highlights the value of T Levels in preparing learners for their next steps.
Among this year’s standouts is Tia, our T Level Student of the Year, who achieved a Distinction* in her Education and Early Years qualification and has progressed to a primary teaching degree with Haybridge SCITT.
In Digital, Muhammad achieved a Distinction in T Level Digital Production, Design and Development and secured a role as a junior developer with Pallet Trucks UK. Meanwhile, Kwame achieved Merit grades in T Level Business and Management and progressed to an Accounting degree at Aston University, while Yvette secured employment in the city centre property sector.
Our Health students have also achieved fantastic results. Anmol, who completed her industry placement at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, secured a place at Keele University to study Adult Nursing.
T Levels also provide opportunities for students to progress, build confidence and achieve their ambitions. Amandeep progressed to T Level Health after achieving a grade 5 in GCSE Maths and being interviewed on BBC News. Abd progressed to T Level Digital Software Development after achieving a grade 7 in Maths and a grade 4 in English.
These achievements demonstrate the diverse pathways available through T Levels, combining classroom learning with industry experience to help students develop the skills and knowledge needed for university, employment and successful future careers.
We’re incredibly proud of our Class of 2026 and look forward to seeing what they achieve next. Find out more about T Level week here: https://www.sandwell.ac.uk/t-level-week-2026-2/
