Our Creative Department is a vibrant hub of industry-focused skills, providing students with cutting-edge facilities and expert guidance to excel in their chosen fields.

What’s on offer?

Art & Design – Develop your creativity in specialist studios for drawing, painting, sculpture, fabric printing, and digital design. End-of-year exhibitions are proudly displayed at the Sandwell Arts Café.
Digital & Creative Media – Work in our iMac studio with Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Animate. Media and game design students also access Cinema 4D for 3D modelling and animation.
Fashion & Textiles – Utilise our iMac suites for digital fashion design and bring your ideas to life in dedicated sewing, textile, and fashion workshops.
Music – Gain hands-on experience in DENOVO, our professional recording studio, equipped with industry-standard technology. Practice in dedicated rehearsal rooms and showcase your talent at weekly Open Mic nights.
Performing & Production Arts – Train in dedicated practice rooms and perform in our 170-seat theatre. Students also gain experience in lighting and sound design for live productions.
Photography, Media & Content Creation – Access professional lighting studios and darkroom facilities, with opportunities to exhibit work at the Sandwell Arts Café and other cultural venues.
