This annual refresher course is for first aiders who have qualified in First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work within the past three years. It will help you maintain basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first aid procedures.
You should ideally hold a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
This half-day course takes place at Central Campus or off site. Course content covers Primary Survey, Unconsciousness and Recovery Position, Resuscitation, Control of Bleeding, Treatment of Shock and Seizures. The cost of this course includes an attendance certificate, plus tea and coffee. Courses are available for groups of up to 12 people.
There will be continuous assessments to make sure candidates have gained the relevant knowledge, skills and understanding for each element of the course.
