Sandwell College is wishing all school leavers, looking ahead to their next step, good luck with their GCSE results as enrolment opens tomorrow.
With over 100 courses on offer – including T Levels, Apprenticeships and other vocational qualifications – and state-of-the-art facilities, exceptional teaching standards and outstanding pass rates, the College’s inspiring team of tutors will guide you on your journey into work, further education and university.
What’s more, all 16-18 full-time students can benefit from the College’s Mega Deal, with free Metro travel or a bus pass. Financial support, free meals and free and subsidised activities and trips are also available to those students who meet the requirements.
School leaver courses range from Art & Design, Business, Computing and Construction right through to Early Years, Engineering, Fashion and Health & Social Care – and much more beyond!
This year, students interested in a future career in Animal Care and Dog Grooming will be able to benefit from brand-new facilities, which have been expanded and upgraded for the new academic term. The College has invested in two new rooms for learners to perfect their practical skills, including an industry-standard dog grooming salon. A host of reptiles, amphibians and rodents will be housed in the new animal care room, including bearded dragons, leopard geckos and a royal python, providing vital hands-on experience for students.
The College also offers full-time T Level courses, including Education & Childcare, Management & Administration, Construction and Health.
A T Level is a two-year course, which is developed in collaboration with employers and businesses. The course equips students with the skills required to embark on a technical career, or on to higher-level apprenticeships and university, combining classroom study with on-the-job training as part of a substantial industry placement.
