We take the welfare of all students and staff extremely seriously. We have a team of qualified Safeguarding and Welfare officers that work to ensure that students feel safe and supported.
The College is committed to:

• Identifying children, young people and vulnerable adults who are suffering, or likely to suffer, significant harm, and taking appropriate action to see that such children, young people and vulnerable adults are kept safe, both at home and at the College.

The Students Union is an organisation run by students for students. It offers support and advice, provides entertainment, organises activities, charity events and a wide variety of trips in the UK and abroad. All students at Sandwell College are automatically members of the Students Union.

No problem. We welcome parents, guardians and carers to come in and see us, take a tour of the facilities and ask those all-important questions.

When do I get my free bus pass?
We will tell you how to get this during enrolment. You will need to download the National Express app.

When will I get the money in my e-purse?
You can check with Welfare on 0121 667 5073 or go to the Hub in the main campus, 3rd floor.
Do I have to pay for my course if I am over 18?
This depends on your individual circumstances, but if you are between 19 and 23 your course will usually be free. Please email [email protected] or call 0121 667 5073 for more details.
Do you have any ESOL Adult courses starting soon?
Yes, we have courses for adults starting at different times throughout the year. Please email [email protected] for more information.
What documents do I need to bring to enrol for ESOL?
Please bring your passport and proof of any benefits you receive.
