We’re wrapping up the year in style and celebrating some of Sandwell College’s best Beauty moments from 2025.
It was definitely a ‘Ding Dong’ moment when professional make-up artist and photographer Rahual Das from BBC Three’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star returned to run masterclasses for our Beauty Therapy learners.
Rahual shared the latest trends, tips and tricks with our hugely engaged students for making his amazing transformations and stunning creations.
Nailing it with some of the best nail techs from across the UK were our talented students who competed at Manchester Central Convention Complex at the Professional Beauty North Nail Awards, sponsored by Vagaro and judged by respected industry experts.
Categories ranged from UV polish to nail art and builder gel to mixed media, and we are so proud of our own Poppy whose passion and dedication shone through as she took second place in the UV Gel Polish (Student) category – just missing out on taking home a trophy.
“The energy in the competition arena was electric as so many talented competitors showed off their skills and dedication. It was inspiring to see everyone’s passion shining through, all while being judged by respected experts from the nail industry,” said competition directors Sean and Jacqui O’Sullivan.
