To mark 80 years since VE Day, The Sandwell Colleges had a day filled with activities. Our Sandwell College campus joined the VEHappy campaign with a celebration across campus – filled with wartime tunes, delicious cake and photo booth fun.
Our CEO & Principal, Lisa Capper MBE, as well as our staff and students took time out to reflect, connect, and celebrate the resilience and sacrifice of those who came before us. It was a joyful way to bring history to life – and say thank you, together.
At Cadbury Sixth Form College, the T Level team welcomed 20 residents from one of our partners, Moundsley Hall Care Village. The event was to celebrate VE Day, but was also an opportunity to thank Moundsley Care Village, located just a mile from the Cadbury College campus. Over the past 12 months, Moundsley has provided 16 high-quality placements for our T Level Health students. Their unwavering support has played a vital role in the development of our learners and has had a lasting impact on our college community.
