In partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Staffordshire County Cricket Club, our Skills Team recently wrapped up a fantastic two week SWAP (Sector-Based Work Academy Programme) for over-50s – designed to boost coaching qualifications, employability, and personal development.
The SWAP programme offered a unique opportunity for individuals aged 50 and above to gain coaching experience, develop new qualifications and engage in personal and professional development activities tailored to help them return and progress within the workforce.
The course finishing was celebrated by a certificate presentation led by Paula Sinclair, Head of Business Development and Olivia Nicholls, Partnerships Manager at the DWP and Lisa Capper MBE, CEO and Principal of Sandwell College.
We’re proud to have supported such a motivated and inspiring group of learners and look forward to continuing our work with DWP and Staffordshire County Cricket Club to provide life changing opportunities for adults within our community.
