Student plasterers from Sandwell College took part in a valuable day of site visits across Birmingham, gaining first‑hand experience of the plastering trade in modern construction, heritage restoration and refurbishment.
The group visited the new hotel development at Edgbaston Cricket Club being delivered by Sisk, explored traditional lime plastering techniques on a 100-year-old building at Cannon Hill Park with Midland Lime Plasterwork, and observed refurbishment works being carried out at Moseley Baths by Galliford Try and DCL.
