It’s awards season and we are delighted to have been celebrating wins for our apprentices, partners and the college at some fantastic events.
Thank you to Black Country Chamber, Express & Star and Building The Future for hosting us at some incredible award ceremonies, celebrating our community and their wonderful achievements.
We are proud to support and recognise the hard work and outstanding achievements that inspire others to continue to reach their full potential.
The team at Fab Lab won the Black Country Chamber of Commerce’s Excellence in Science, Technology & Innovation award at the Business Awards. As a finalist last year, the team were shortlisted again for their pioneering work in championing innovation and collaboration among local businesses, and this time they walked away with the win.
Doocey Group, one of our partner employers and an industry trailblazer, won Medium Size Business Of The Year at The Express & Star Apprenticeship Awards in partnership with Black Country Ladder. The judges recognised the team’s level of dedication in developing its apprenticeship provision and driving its industry forward through apprenticeships.
Further recognition of our apprenticeship collaborative work came at the Building The Future awards, in which Sandwell College, Doocey Group and our apprentice Kailum Woodfield were all shortlisted for showing tenacity, strength and leadership.
These awards allow our community to shine a light on outstanding achievements and celebrate moments we would not have wanted to miss. Congratulations to all winners!
