Kieran Perks

Kieran was a former Automotive apprentice at Sandwell college and studied Body & Paint. Kieran is now a Director and Owner of many Bodyshops and is working with Sandwell College to support future apprenticeships.

Hamza Shaikh

Hamza Shaikh studied Edgbaston Cricket Education Programme at Sandwell College. Hamza Shaikh capped a memorable 2023 with England selection for the Under-19s 2024 World Cup.

Mackenzie Haydn-Jones

Sandwell College Sport student Mackenzie Haydn-Jones is part of the West Bromwich Albion Football Team. The young goalkeeper studied the Albion Women’s Football Education & Coaching Programme.

Russell Lucas

Director, writer, performer and producer Russell Lucas studied Performing Arts at Sandwell College. He is a London-based artist who creates work for the theatre and online. His projects range from his one man show The Bobby Kennedy Experience, to co-producing and directing the Theatremakers series for Digital Theatre+.

Che Simmons

Sandwell College Sport student Che Simmons has been awarded his first professional three-year contract by Warwickshire County Cricket Club after graduating from the Club’s Academy.

Sedat Savas

Interactive Media student Sedat Savas has been commissioned by Multistory to produce animation for the ‘Seeing in Isolation’ project.

Free Bus & Metro Pass

All 16-18 students who enrol with us at Sandwell College will receive a FREE bus pass. We will provide you with a Term Plus Travel Card that allows travel on West Midlands buses in Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Birmingham and Coventry. OR from anywhere along the Wolverhampton to Birmingham Metro line. You can pay a bit extra to top up one option to include the other, AND you can travel at any time, including evenings and weekends. This will be renewable termly if you keep up a good record of progress, behaviour and attendance.
