Sandwell College offers a wide range of Sports Studies courses for school leavers, including Sport & Fitness, Sports Coaching & Development, Football Education & Coaching, Basketball Education & Coaching, Cricket Education Programme and Esports courses in partnership with Wolves Esports. Courses are available from Level 1 through to Level 3 qualifications.
Depending on the course, you may study sports coaching and leadership, fitness and training principles, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology, nutrition and performance, sport development and wellbeing. Many courses combine classroom learning with practical coaching and fitness activities.
