This Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is a progression route from Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning, and provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work in a variety of unsupervised job roles that support children and young people’s learning in schools or colleges.
Roles this qualification will prepare you for include:
GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or an STL Level 2 qualification.
This Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is designed for individuals working or volunteering in support roles within schools or colleges, aiming to enhance their knowledge and skills to effectively support teaching and learning.
It provides a comprehensive understanding of child development, safeguarding, and the educational environment, preparing learners for roles such as Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
Work Placement: A minimum of 100 hours in a real work environment is required to demonstrate competence in both knowledge and skills.
