Practically you will be assessed based on individual performance throughout the course to a level of competency which consists of formative and summative assessments. Theory knowledge is assessed via multiple choice online exams and/or assignments and work packs. All exams are marked externally by the awarding body, and your final grade will be a Pass.
You can progress on the hairdressing or beauty pathway, or to the Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing. You could also gain employment as a junior stylist in hairdressing salons or become self-employed and set up your own mobile hairdressing business.
