You’ll explore key cyber threats, safe digital practices and the principles behind protecting systems, devices and information. This nationally recognised qualification is ideal for adults looking to progress into digital or IT roles, support workplace responsibilities, or build skills needed for more advanced cyber pathways.

Who is this course for?

Adults aged 19+ who want to:

  • Understand core cyber security principles
  • Identify digital threats and reduce risks
  • Strengthen employability in digital or IT sectors
  • Support workplace responsibilities involving data or security
  • Progress into Level 3 or apprenticeship-based cyber pathways
  • A basic understanding of computers is helpful.
  • You must be aged 19+

You’ll explore:

  • Common cyber threats and how to prevent them
  • Safe digital practices for home and the workplace
  • Protecting devices, data and online accounts
  • Understanding user behaviour and security risks
  • Basics of cyber security tools and monitoring
