Improve your confidence using digital tools for the workplace with this practical four-week course delivered at Cradley Heath Skills Campus.
Digital Skills for Work introduces key skills used in modern jobs, such as creating documents, using email professionally, organising digital files and understanding online communication. Whether you’re returning to work, looking to progress in your career or want to improve your digital confidence, this course helps you build essential skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
You’ll study as part of the number one college group for student achievement in the West Midlands, making this an ideal starting point before progressing to higher-level digital qualifications.

Who is this course for?

Ideal for adults aged 19+ who want to:

  • Build confidence using digital tools for work
  • Learn essential workplace computer skills
  • Use email, documents and online communication more effectively
  • Strengthen digital skills before further study
  • Improve employability and job readiness

No prior experience required.

  • You must be aged 19+
  • No previous experience is needed.

Across four weekly sessions, you’ll explore:

  • Creating simple documents using word processing software
  • Using email professionally — attaching files, formatting messages, organising inboxes
  • Navigating online platforms used in modern workplaces
  • Organising files and folders effectively
  • Understanding essential digital tools used in employment

Learning takes place through hands-on, practical activities based on real work tasks.
