Sophie Graham knew that a hands-on job in the construction industry was the right path for her. Choosing a Level 2 Carpentry Apprenticeship with Sandwell College and Persimmon Homes, she embraced the opportunity to gain real-world experience while developing specialist skills in roofing, smart panels, dormer windows, timber framing, stud walling, and so much more.
Throughout her apprenticeship, Sophie’s confidence blossomed, mastering her craft and proving that apprenticeships are a fantastic route into a successful career.
Reflecting on her experience, she says:
