Former Sport student Rebaz with lecturer

Rebaz Mohammed

Meet Rebaz, a former Sandwell College student, who is becoming one of the UK’s most successful football freestylers – his story is a testament to the power of skills, resilience, and opportunity.

Rebaz began his journey at Entry Level 3 ESOL, worked his way up through Level 2, and then progressed to Level 3 Sport, developing the essential communication, discipline, and performance skills that helped turn his passion into a career. He’s one of over 1,100 ESOL students who study with us each year, gaining the language skills and confidence to unlock new opportunities.

Recently, he returned to speak with our Sports department, sharing how his time at College helped him build the skills and confidence to succeed. Today, he collaborates with global brands like adidas, Red Bull Nissan Motor Corporation, and Sony, proving that with the right support, skills and determination, anything is possible.

At The Sandwell Colleges, we’re committed to helping students gain the skills, knowledge, and experience to achieve their ambitions – wherever their career journey takes them.
