Develop strong, employer-recognised digital and IT skills with this nationally accredited Level 2 Award delivered at Cradley Heath Skills Campus.
This course helps you build practical digital competence for work and everyday life, from creating professional documents and managing data to using online platforms and understanding digital best practices. Whether you’re progressing towards IT-related employment or aiming to expand your digital confidence, this course offers the essential skills needed in a wide range of job roles.

Who is this course for?

Adults aged 19+ who want to:

  • Gain a recognised Level 2 digital qualification
  • Improve digital skills for work or career progression
  • Strengthen IT knowledge for further learning
  • Prepare for cyber security or further digital pathways
  • Build confidence using professional software

Level 1 digital qualification is helpful but not required.

  • You must be aged 19+
  • Level 1 digital qualification is helpful but not required.

What will I learn?

Across 16 sessions, you’ll develop advanced digital skills including:

  • Creating and formatting professional documents
  • Managing and organising digital information
  • Using online tools, platforms and collaboration features
  • Understanding digital best practice, safety and efficiency
  • Applying digital solutions to workplace-style tasks

You may progress onto:

  • Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Cyber Security
  • Other advanced IT and employability courses

These skills also support work progression, apprenticeships and IT-related pathways.
