We were delighted that two of our colleagues attended this years Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Jon Tew, Chair of Governors and his wife, were invited to represent The Sandwell Colleges at this week’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate and recognise those working in Education and Skills.
John has been connected to the College and worked as a valued member of the Corporation Board, and most recently Chair, for over 17 years. His commitment and dedication to the success of our Colleges is highly valued by colleagues, learners and his peers.
We were also delighted that Manjit Johal, our Head of Adult provision, also attended the Education and Skills Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Manjit has led our large and successful work on ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) for several years, working tirelessly to support adults into employment and further learning. Manjit is a true advocate to represent our ‘One Team’ approach which is embedded across our Colleges.
A wonderful experience, surrounded by many other inspiring and talented sector colleagues and a proud moment for The Sandwell Colleges.
