This Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology is an assessment-based course designed for adults looking to upskill or explore a taster in nail services.

Focusing on the artistic application of acrylic nails, this course allows learners to:

Develop practical skills using professional tools and products
Explore a range of creative nail design techniques
Build confidence and knowledge for further learning in beauty therapy
Enhance employability skills relevant to the nail and beauty industry

Application of Nail Enhancements, giving you a strong foundation in nail technology and a valuable stepping stone towards advanced qualifications or employment. Alongside this, manicures, pedicure or nail art will be delivered.

You will need to have GCSE Grade 3 or above in English and Maths, or ESOL at Level 1 or equivalent or Functional Skills Level 1.

You’ll be assessed through a mix of practical observations and theory tests:

Practical Assessments: We’ll observe your individual performance to check your skills and competency.
Theory Assessments: These include multiple-choice online exams, assignments, and work packs. All exams are marked externally by the awarding body, and your final grade will be a Pass.
Support to Succeed: You’ll take part in practical demos and knowledge sessions to help you prepare for assessments and exams with confidence.
