This Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Nail Technology is an assessment-based qualification for learners who have completed a Level 2 or equivalent in beauty or nails, and wish to pursue a career in Nail Technology.
This Level 3 Diploma will equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge required to be successful within the nail technology industry.
Learners will have the opportunity to develop their practical and employability skills to help further develop their knowledge of the industry and gain experience through work placements or within our own Bliss Beauty salon.

This course is funded for 16/18-year-olds.
Adults who do not hold a Level 3 qualification, or are in receipt of benefits, may be eligible for fees to be funded.
Students are required to purchase a kit, however you can apply for a bursary to support the cost if you are eligible.
Uniform will be provided by the department but appropriate shoes will need to be purchased.
Study in our state-of-the-art professional salons for hair, beauty, barbering and nails. You will practice on real clients in our Bliss Hair & Beauty Salons under close supervision by our highly experienced and dedicated staff.

Formative and summative assessment via practical observations based on individual performance to assess your level of competency.
Theory knowledge is assessed via multiple choice online exams and/or assignments and work packs. All exams are marked externally by the awarding body, and your final grade will be a Pass.
Practical demonstrations and knowledge sessions will be provided for you to prepare for assessments and exams.
Once you have completed this Level 3 qualification, you will be qualified to work as a therapist in a salon, spa or skin clinic. You can progress to the following courses to further your career opportunities:

· University HE-FND Level 4 in Aesthetics leading to Level 5/6 HND
